Hysterectomy for Benign Diseases and its Alternatives

29-30-31 Jan 2009 | GO TO OVERVIEW | REGISTRATION

The Endoscopic Training Centre Antwerp organises its VIIth biannual meeting.

Dear colleague,

Let’s discuss “Hysterectomy “.
Hysterectomy is by far the most performed gynaecological surgery, yet many questions remain unanswered..
Is every hysterectomy really necessary?  Is it the most efficient way to obtain  the desired result?  What is the important factor on the patient and her  surroundings: husband, children, work situation?  Is endoscopy a benefit for the patient?  Are there limits to the endoscopic approach?  What is the place of alternative – medical – surgical treatments?
Just a few examples of questions the faculty wants to discuss with you.
The program foresees ample time  for  discussion and a special session is provided for where you can present your own point of view and discuss it with the faculty.

See you in Antwerp in January 2009!

For the organising committee
